Equal Care Vocational Services
We restore old furniture in our program by painting items to make them look new! We paint chairs, tables and dressers! Then we sell the finish items in our storefront. We have a cash register system and an iPod square system that we use to take debit/credit cards and keep track of inventory. Every task is very hands on and we have great staff and coworkers to help you learn! We pay $8.70 an hour and you can start at 10 paid hours per week. We go out into the community 4-5 times per week which includes: Food banks, volunteering, Home Depot, shopping centers, restaurants, Akron events, movies, parks, game stop, recreational centers, and much more! Our facility is wheelchair accessible and we have very experienced and helpful staff.
The shifts available are 9a-2p or 10a-3p and we provide transportation! Equal Care is a great place to socialize, earn money and meet new friends!
